2024 Trending Framework in PHP

As of my last knowledge update in January 2023, some of the trending PHP frameworks include:

Laravel: Laravel has been consistently popular due to its elegant syntax, robust features, and large and active community. It emphasizes the use of modern PHP practices and offers a variety of tools for tasks like routing, caching, and authentication.

Symfony: Symfony is a high-performance PHP framework with a set of reusable PHP components. It follows the model-view-controller (MVC) pattern and is known for its flexibility and scalability.

Yii: Yii is a high-performance, component-based PHP framework for developing large-scale web applications. It is known for being fast, secure, and efficient.

CodeIgniter: CodeIgniter is a lightweight PHP framework that is easy to install and configure. It’s a good choice for developers who prefer a simple and straightforward framework with minimal setup.

Zend Framework (Laminas): Zend Framework, now known as Laminas, is a robust and flexible PHP framework that follows an object-oriented architecture. It provides a collection of PHP packages for developing modern, secure web applications.

Phalcon: Phalcon is a PHP framework implemented as a C extension, which makes it one of the fastest PHP frameworks available. It’s well-suited for performance-critical applications.

Please note that the popularity of frameworks can change over time as new versions are released, and new frameworks emerge. It’s always a good idea to check the latest trends and community feedback when considering a PHP framework for your project.
